Police raid Addington Highlands home and find drugs and weapons

O.P.P. have laid several weapons and drug charges against two people following a raid at an Addington Highlands Township home yesterday.

Members of Project Round-Up including Napanee and Frontenac O.P.P. executed a search warrant at a home on 5th Concession North, where they seized 31 grams of marijuana and 20 pounds of cannabis.

Police also seized two cross bows, pellet guns and two .22 caliber riffles.

As a result, police have arrested and charged Linda Sebastiao, 33, of Addington Highlands Township and Daniel Fougere, 42, of Quinte West. They are each charged with:

1) Unauthorized Possession of Weapon, contraty to section 91(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada
2) Possession of a Weapon for the Dangerous Purpose, contraty to section 88 of the Criminal Code of Canada
3) Production Schedule II (cannabis marihuana), contrary to section 7(1) of the Control Drug Substance Act.
4) Possession Schedule II (canabis marihuana ), contrary to section 4(1) of the Control Drub Substance Act.
5) Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon Ammunition

Sebastiao and Fougere will appear in Napanee court for a bail hearing. Police are still investigating.
