Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment held a contest to see who could watch continuous episodes of 24 the longest to promote the release of the DVD box set. Three guys went 86 hours, 6 minutes and 41 seconds for a new Guiness World Record.

They were allowed a 10-minute break every two hours.
