Do you have a loving home (or know someone who does) for Chestnut or Matty?
Chestnut is a delightful neutered male 3 month old marbled tabby. He is currently in a foster home recovering from his neuter where he is enjoying the company of other cats and the three resident dogs. He loves to play with dangly toys and the laser pointer. He is cuddly and affectionate as well! He is used to having his nails cut, loves his scratching post and has excellent litter box habits. He is ready for viewing and is able attend the shelter anytime for a meeting – he will be working in the front office today!
Matty is a 3 year old neutered male hound/beagle mix. Matty came to us as a very injured stray who needed immediate surgery to repair a large gash on his neck. He was a real trooper and wagged his tail constantly, letting us know he was happy for the help. He is a sweet fellow that should be a good fit in a home with kids. He seems fine with other dogs and is likely housetrained.

ABBY
This beauty loves all the attention that you can give her. She can be active, but if you pick her up to scratch her around the head and chin, she’ll rub against your chin, purring and give you kitty kisses. How could you resist her when she shows her love so openly. She has some great markings through her soft coat of fur. Come in and see her, she’ll steal your heart. |
10-1101 Jake is a 3 year old neutered male black and white hound! Jake is a real lover and has obviously been someone’s housepet – he seems housetrained and knows a few commands. He loves to play with other dogs and should make a fine fit for an active family. He loves his walks and is just an overall happy-go-lucky fellow. He looks a bit serious in his photo but he was just focussing on being a good boy to get the treat being held in front of his nose!
10-1085 Phantom is an adult domestic medium-hair neutered male cat who came to us in road-weary condition with an abscess on his face, dreadful coat and haggard appearance. We’ve fixed him up and he’s a brand new cat! He is sweet and unassuming and a bit shy in the shelter. He loves a cuddle and looks forward to a life off the mean streets perched on your couch. Phantom would probably be most comfortable in a quieter home as the only pet. If you’re lonesome and looking for love, Phantom could be the right cat for you!

10-1062 Peaches
Peaches is a 3 year old female Bassett Hound! Peaches is hoping a lover of all traits Bassett will come to take her home – she’s slobbery and droopy and has her nose to the ground constantly. Peaches loves her walks and is quite an active girl. She should be a great fit for a family but definitely needs a detached home as she shares her rather noisy opinions with anyone who will listen. She seems to get along with other dogs and may even enjoy being a playmate to your current dog!
10-1145B Gherkin
Gherkin is a mischievous 4 month old male brown tabby kitten. For those who like an outgoing ‘dog-cat’, Gherkin is a great choice. He’s snuggly and playful and up for anything. Gherkin should be a fine fit for any household and would likely enjoy living with other cats and perhaps even dogs.
